About

In 2014, I founded Birth Monopoly to topple the business monopoly on American childbirth.  It is a system that limits the rights of consumers and incentivizes unsafe, traumatizing care.  I have experienced this system first-hand and supported hundreds of women in navigating it themselves.

Today, I live in Lexington, Kentucky, with my son Henry, where I work full-time advocating for the legal and human rights of childbearing people, including the right to midwifery care.  Doing this work, including the Birth Allowed Radio show and podcast, costs a significant amount of money each year.  Thank you for your purchase, which supports my work and allows Birth Monopoly to keep doing what it does!

Love,
